Meet Cara O'Hearn, Founder
Cara O'Hearn: A passionate dancer from Port au Prince, Haiti, who found her calling in Canada. Trained in the Vaganova method, she has graced the stage in productions like Nutcracker and Cinderella. Additionally, committed to sharing joy, Cara works with children with special needs as an EA and has volunteered to dance for children in hospitals through Crafting for a Cure. Seeing the smiles of her students keeps her going!
Vision
With God in the lead always, Ballet Fix is a nurturing business that sees a dancer in every single person, embraces diversity and has a goal to lead students to success. Above all, Ballet Fix is there to provide a happy place where dance students will learn the most important thing of all- to have FUN! I realize that one can lose oneself in the rigidity and seriousness of ballet, constantly striving to perfect technique. But it is important to let go, enjoy the process and be yourself too. Ballet isn't about being perfect but rather is the ability to express a beautiful passion which comes from the heart.
